How can we help?

The needs that come alongside a pediatric cancer diagnosis can (and sometimes do) feel incredibly overwhelming. The Idaho Pediatric Cancer Coalition is here to come alongside you and yours, offering tangible support. Our job is to provide you with the resources to the things you know now and help you navigate the needs that will arise in the future.

As the leading pediatric cancer non-profit in Southern Idaho, it is our honor to help each and every family that we connect with. We pride ourselves in being proactive, empathetic and kind as we help the families of Idaho who are walking the unthinkable. Our network of resources and donors allow our team to focus on your family’s needs.

staying connected

A reliable Wi-Fi connection is an incredible resource. It provides opportunity to stay connected with family and friends, check in on work or school projects or provide an escape by streaming a movie.

home management

Whether you’re gone for long periods of time or not, our network includes support for your home. From deep, sanitizing cleans, to dog walking, plant watering or meal prepping, let us focus on those things so you can focus on your little one.

financial relief

We love connecting families with the many, incredible financial relief programs available throughout the USA, created for families with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Let us show you how your medical bills (and other bills) are not something you need to stress about.

TRansportation

Whether your child needs medical care that’s local, within a few hours or a day’s flight away, let us arrange your transportation and lodging.

MENTAL & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

The ripple effect of a pediatric diagnosis effects more than just the one diagnosed. Let us connect you with counselors for you, your children, or other friends or family that could use a safe place to process their feelings. Every one of you matters.

THE LITTLE THINGS

If at any time, you’ve forgotten things like your toothbrush, deodorant, non-medical establishment snacks, reading materials or other items from home that bring comfort, let us have them delivered to you.

Superhero Stories

Riddick was diagnosed with stage 3 Burkitt Lymphoma on July 1, 2021. He was five years old. Facebook connected my family with the MVPCC. I put a post asking for pricing and help to find someone who could clean our house while we were in Boise for Riddick’s treatment. Read More

LG was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in December of 2018. She was just under two years old. For two years, LG and her family walked the unthinkable road and are happy to say she just celebrated her 4th birthday, and with clear scans! Childhood cancer can make families feel like they are all alone, let our community be the reason they feel seen, supported and loved!

At 12 years old, Holman was diagnosed with a type of lymphoma. Each day, his family is grateful for the support and contact of the MVPCC. When his mom spent over 3 consecutive months in the hospital with him, the MVPCC alleviated stress by helping cover the family’s bills & expenses. Their family is so grateful to focus on Holman, his health and good days ahead.

Ryder was 9 years old when he was given a diagnosis of Burkett Lymphoma. It’s been a year now and his parents are beyond grateful to have had the MVPCC by their side, providing comfort, support, finances, and Ryder’s favorite- games and snacks for his treatment days! Ryder is now a strong, healthy, active 10-year-old who loves competing with a local Men’s Golf League.
